Happy New Year from the Writable team! We hope your 2017 is off to a great start, both at school and at home!
The last several weeks have been very busy for us and we’re happy to share that Writable on the web is here! After a great Fall pilot on iOS, we’re now looking for teachers who want to pilot Writable on the web in their classrooms. During the pilot, we’ll need to help you enter and edit your assignments and rubrics, but the web version still supports any curriculum you’re working with and has:
- Google login and Groups to fit into your classroom flow
- Teacher dashboard to help you monitor writing, confer and give feedback
- Student writing, peer review & revision
Pilot schools will also be able to participate in teacher webinars, so participants have a chance to meet each other and hear implementation and professional development tips from Troy Hicks, professor of English and education at Central Michigan University (@hickstro!).
Ready to get started? Let us know by filling out this form and we’ll reach out with next-steps. If you have any other questions, you can send them to email@example.com.
We’re excited for 2017 and to see how Writable will evolve to suit the needs of our pilot teachers. We hope you’ll join us!
